By decree of the Goblin King, you are cordially invited to the event of the season. It’s time to slip on something spectacular and make your way through the labyrinth (if you dare) to grace our Majesty with your presence.

October 25 & 26 | 7:30pm-12:00am | The Savoy Denver


On October 25 & 26, Starry Night Productions will bring you a fantastical event like nothing before seen in Denver. 

  • Through dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered… Explore our labyrinth and get up close to our goblin band, Catharsonist while sipping delicious bespoke cocktails and mocktails by Madre Mezcal and Strongwater.

  • …I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back what you have stolen. Make it beyond the goblins and through the labyrinth to join the Goblin King in his ballroom where magic abounds. 

  • The babe with the power. Be among the first to hear the all new album played live by The Whimsy of Things. Each song will feature a very special performance by Denver circus artists, dancers, and movers.

  • Dance magic, dance - Dance amongst the fairies, goblins, horned beasts, fireys, and other mystical creatures as dj Reed Fox spins his mystical tunes

  • YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER ME! Stand before the King as we celebrate your look in our costume and mask contest. 

  • Plus secret puzzles, mysteries to uncover, tasty nibbles, and so so much more.

DRESS CODE

Masks and costumes are required for entry. Dress must be ballroom or goblin chic - only your finest attire may be presented before our King. Whether you are a goblin, fairy, horned beast, or even a simple human, you must bring your fanciest self to the ball.

This mind blowing evening is created for Denver by Denver artists. All ticket revenue goes directly to support your local artists.

WE HATE HIDDEN FEES AND COSTS! In order to make our experiences as accessible as possible we are offering scaled ticket pricing and ask that you purchase tickets at the level you can afford. Limited tickets are available at each price point, and once a pricing level sells out, that’s all we’ve got! Aside from VIP all levels provide the same benefits.

Amber Blais & Starry Night Productions

Amber is Founder and Producing Director of Starry Night Productions (formerly of Rainbow Militia Circus), and has over 15 years of PR, marketing, donor relations, circus, theater, event planning and production experience. Her most recent role was working in collaboration with ownership to build the entertainment program from the ground up for the iconic Casa Bonita Denver (you can see some of her journey in the new Paramount+ documentary Casa Bonita Mi Amor in Denver theaters now).

She has been featured in 5280 Magazine, Denver Post, and Denver Westword as one of Colorado’s Creatives and as one of 9 People to Watch in 2021

Catharsonist

Dynamic and diverse, sweeping passages punctuated by abrupt changes, Catarsonist weaves emotional contrast into every song. Like bends in a rushing river, the white water will slam you into rocks as it pulls you along.

Reed Fox

Reed Cameron Fox is a Denver-based imaginator, DJ, and sought-after producer known for his 'oyster band' déCollage. In one explosive year, Reed's DJ'd TEDx, Meow Wolf, Denver Art Museum, & opened for Flaming Lips' Brothers Griiin before getting nominated for Westword's best House DJ. He’s likely to produce quirky electro-pop that occasionally dips into EDM & his remixes add a bass-heavy psychedelic club edge to Psychic House & Cosmic Disco. Reed’s eclecticism & maximalism are inspired by his dad's collection of 16,000 records. Reed's releases on the Moon Magnet imprint have been racking up plays on dozens of playlists like Best EDM, Tech House Bangerz; while premiering on 303 Magazine, Ultra5280, & Bolder Beat. When Reed isn’t DJing or producing dance tracks, he’s running Moon Magnet Music School, trying to make his 4 other bands sound like an underwater bouncy castle, or inventing products for Meow Wolf like Moon Water & Oysterizer Moisturizer.

Lucky Johnston

Puzzlemaster

Artist. Performer. Director. Mentor. Creative. Mammal. Biped. Bon Vivant. For well over a decade, Lucky Johnston has been a proud part of Denver’s improvisation and performing community, lending his voice and vision to the likes of Bovine Metropolis Theater, Rise Comedy, and other such venues. He is currently a gentleman bandit and master of disguise with a cadre of ne’er-do-wells under his tutelage at a Colorado eating establishment.

Grace Low

Marketing Wiz

Grace is a marketing expert with over 15 years of experience working in the entertainment and tech industries. She has grown the audiences at numerous brands and entertainment properties such as “South Park”, Hinge, and Comedy Central. She was a part of the launch team for the World’s Greatest Restaurant, Casa Bonita in Denver. She now sits on advisory boards for start ups and consults on marketing strategies for exciting brands. 

Celeste Richards

Sound Guru

Celeste Richards is currently the Technical Supervisor at Casa Bonita Denver. Previously she has worked in themed and immersive entertainment at both Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida and at Disneyland and California Adventures parks in Anaheim, California. She was on the audio team that helped reopen the ACT of Connecticut in 2022 post Covid shutdowns, she toured with Masters of Illusions Live as the Sound Designer, as well as Sound Designing the professional debut of A Gentle Whisper of Trees. She has 10 years of experience in Audio Production, Editing, and Mixing.

Gina Schettini

Gina has been walking the high life for 8 years. She entered the performance world after years of watching her talented partner! After a year of solo performing, Gina and her partner started Elevated Circus! Together they teach and perform all over the world! Gina loves bringing her long legs to any crowd that will watch!

Theatre Artibus

Theatre Artibus is dedicated to creating comedy and chaos, strengthening community through the experience of live performance. They are the resident theatre company at the Savoy Denver and their  next show is a family-friendly collaboration with Starry Night productions in November at the Savoy!

The Soda Shop Movement Company

The Soda Shop Movement Company is a contemporary ballet company based in Fort Collins, Colorado. It's mission is to provide innovative and captivating performances for Front Range audiences while offering a wide range of services including; performance art, artistic collaboration, creative spaces, movement/ technique classes, and community outreach. Co- Directors Conner Horak-Flood and Jenna Smith are thrilled to be a part of Starry Night's Masque of the Goblin King! See you in the labyrinth...

The Whimsy of Things

Denver based band The Whimsy of Things, led by Cassidy Bacon, spins quirky melodies, ethereal harmonies, and candid lyricism into an excitingly sincere web of original songs. Bacon pulls influence from many genres including jazz, soul, indie, folk, and musical theater, to create a sound entirely unique to the group. Like their name suggests, The Whimsy of Things has an element of mystical authenticity that captures the real magic of the human experience. Over the past two years they have taken a turn toward the theatrical and started collaborating with other performance artists, particularly those in the circus realm. Now with the release of their new album Gravity Dance, they are ready to delight their audience with a masquerade spectacle, and all new musical textures as they explore the intricacies of dark and light, fear and joy, nightmare and daydream.

Tom Varani

Worldbuilder


Part werewolf, part kraken, Tom Varani is both the light of the shining moon and the shadows deep beneath the sea. His artistic works span genres from large scale kinetic sculpture, through painted murals and canvases, into lightly-sketched-photo-realistic portraits. He has worked with Starry Night Productions since 2017, building sets that create incredible worlds that take you beyond earth and into dreams. His art has been seen in the Denver Art Museum, at Burning Man, on theatrical and dance stages, and within a myriad of tiny cracks in the universe. Tom can basically do it all, even transform before a full moon. And if he would only write his own bio, it might not be so strangely eloquent but could possibly be slightly more accurate.

Sara VonGillern

Sara VonGillern aka "Mis' Von" is a choreographer and performance artist based in Denver, CO. Her expertise includes a variety of dance styles, aerial arts, fire performance and roller skating as well as producing and directing movement for TV/film, commercials and live performance. She is a dance educator who has taught locally in studios and public/private schools as well as a master teacher who travels internationally to share her knowledge and passion for dance.

Some of her past credits include Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season 3 - top 8 finalist), MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew,” Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Live,” “American Idol” and the “Ellen Degeneres Show.” She has danced for musical artists like Ne-Yo, Justin Beiber, Usher, Ricky Martin, Andy Grammar, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, LMFAO, Big Time Rush, Avril Lavigne & comedian Aziz Ansari. She has danced for NBA Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Clippers as well as the NFL Los Angeles Chargers.

She currently works with local Denver cirque companies, Circus Foundry, CircaVida, Equinox Entertainment and Starry Night Productions. Additionally, she works in Marketing with CO born company, The Salad Collective, as a content creator, videographer, graphic designer and copy editor.

Fallon Voorheis-Mathews

Fallon is the founder and artistic director of In the Wings. She is a proud Colorado native and has been involved in gymnastics and dance since early childhood. After injuries prevented her from pursuing her gymnastics career, she studied dance under Tony Coppola at Mesa State College. Fallon was introduced to aerial dance in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the art form. She started her training at Frequent Flyers as a member of the apprentice company and spent 6 years with Iluminar Aerial where she wore many hats including Assistant Director. Over the years, Fallon has studied with many different companies and artists including Tanya Burka, Annabelle D’Artois, Daniel Sullivan, Ukoiya Mastin, Elsie Smith, TSNY-LA, Imperial Flyers High Flying Trapeze Club, and Fly Mile High. She most recently spent time in France training with Hanne Coeckelberghs and Justine Arden. Outside of dance, Fallon is a dedicated GI nurse who enjoys sneaking away to Paris whenever possible, cleaning up French Bulldog and Cane Corso drool, and murder mystery nights with friends.
